But really, there's a whole crowd of Pokemon around him - two Ralts playing Triple Triad, a sad little shiny Wooper with a Butterfree patting it on the head - but what's important is that his Shiny Munna is there, nomming on the air once more. He's just kind of laying there - the video was turned on by Alex the Zorua. Laguna knows it's on, but he's just thinking to himself.

Why's he getting it recorded, then? In case he gets amnesia once more, duh.]

Let me go though this again - it's still kinda confusing.
[The Munna nods, as it nibbles, trying to bring out more memories for daddy.]
Th' six of us - Vaan, Yuna, Kain, Tifa, Light and me - we're dead. Can't really believe it - but it's the last thing which happened there. And I was doing dangerous things at home... just hope she's okay. Can't really accept it, though. I don't want to be dead.
[Siigh. Laguna looks upwards a bit. He doesn't feel like this often... maybe he should get on the road. He's getting that urge.]
At least that gives me a reason to relax a bit more. Can't worry too much about home when I might not even have one to go to. But there's still all that stuff going on there...

What sort of levels should I be looking at for the gym here? It'll probably still be a while more, but being able to use Fly - it'd sure be handy! And it sounds fun, flying around the skies! I'd probably also need the HM thing for it too - where do you find that?

Deaths that happened during the cycles were not quite as permanent as we thought they'd be. Other than theirs, perhaps.

That's only a train ride from Goldenrod, right? It might be okay... but it'd still be a while. My strongest is only nearing level 30 right now.
[And soon, Ragnarok will stop listening to you.]
Plus, I'd need to get Clem and Ushio on board - I'm not gonna leave them in another country while I go off and fight!

Either way, you'll probably have to wait, unless you borrow somebody else's Fly HM or get a Pokémon that hatches with the move.

[They've already gone over the Conflict the other day, and there's nothing new in his musings that need her attention or clarification given what she knows.

Which is why she'll be focusing on what she does know: Johto.]

Falkner's gym is closed. You'll have to head to Kanto to be able to use Fly.

Maybe it'll be a while until I learn it, then. Can't just drag Clem and Ushio to Kanto to fight the gyms there.
[Note: If they were adults travelling with him, he would probably drag them along. Kids are just... he wants to make sure they're safe and happy.]

Have you talked to them about it? They might want to go more than you do.

[Even if it had to be a load of work for him, Clementine appreciated that Laguna always seemed to be taking in a constant stream of baby Pokémon because she could be sure that they could give her own Pokémon company.

She caught her seventh Pokémon two days ago, and had come scampering in relatively high spirits to where she expected Laguna would be, holding Katya the Skitty kitten against her body with one arm and the paw of Larry the newborn Teddiursa in her other hand, about to ask if she could leave the two babies to play with his bunch to give her new Yanma some time out of the PC to train with the others.

On making it over, however, she sensed something - a field of disturbance around Laguna that she shouldn't enter. So she's standing maybe four meters off, still holding Katya and Larry, holding her request to drop them off, not willing to break into whatever thought he seems to be consumed by. He has a good enough sense of when she's around - she'll wait for him to tell her whether she ought to go or if she can speak.]
