[Why, hello, network. Laguna was awoken early today... by a pile of Moombas falling on him. It was weird. But - hey, this is pretty cool! The music? Not so much.]
So, uh...
[The creatures are darting around on the screen, around Laguna - some of them scratching themselves, some of them licking Pokemon (spoilers: Ragnarok the Servine looks pretty annoyed, twitching his tail over and over, and letting out a deep hiss) and Laguna both - and some of them repeating Laguna's name, over and over. Laguna's got a pretty big smile.]
It's been ages since I've seen these guys - man, the last time I saw them, it was a pretty exciting time. I should tell you guys about it sometime! But - how'd they get here? Last thing I knew, I was settlin' down in Olivine...

[Wait. Laguna doesn't know where he is, either. Where is he? Well, it's up to you.]

Well, might as well see where I am. Hey - anybody around here?
[As Laguna stood, he had a few Moomba clunging to him. What's that with him as well...? Yes, he has re-gotten his gun, and he's got it secure on his person.]

[But then Laguna freezes. This guy seems pretty... well, uh familiar.

Uh... Laguna might just be leaning down and looking closer. Uh... um.

It's almost like looking into some sort of mirror. Which makes you look older.]

[It really is! Laguna is staring for a few more monents...

Before suddenly, Ragnarok speaks up, tail flicking.]
...Now I need to deal with two of you. Great.
[But instead of responding to that, Laguna's turning -]
You can speak, Ragnarok?! I mean, I was teachin' you how, but--
[Cue facepalm.]

*...yeah he's never seen a Servine before*

This is Ragnarok - he's my starter. He started as a Snivy, became a Servine - but he doesn't wanna fully evolve into a Serperior.
[The perfect distraction, as Ragnarok is facepalming even more. You guys... YOU GUYS...]
Though, he is pretty strong, even if we're not t'best of friends.

*hey now little guy it takes a bit for the shock to subside enough for realization to sink in! you should totally be used to that by now REALLY*

*now that he's managed to get out from under his arcanine (who is still totally sitting RIGHT UP AGAINST HIM like an affectionate dog does) he's crouching down for a better look at Ragnarok there*

Seems it! [He says - this Laguna, though, is still kind of looking at you. In his shock, before letting out a bit of a laugh.] Man, though - the first time we met, he wouldn't even look at me. And the looks he'd give when I'd give Elle th'first meal when she first hatched - that's my Musharna. She's not as sweet as the real Elle, of course, but she is pretty cute.
[Laguna loves talking about his Pokemon.]
But now, at least he's toleratin' this.
[As for Ragnarok? He's letting this older man look over him, while giving the harshest glare he can without actually knowing the move. No use wasting words on him. Maybe he'll challenge that Arcanine.]

*arcanine would be happy to play with him! ...or wait, you meant battle, right? well, whatever, close enough~

Laguna however is totally not at all furtively glancing over at the mention of "Elle", because seriously even he can start putting two and two together eventually...*
