Months! Nearrrrarly a year! Of course, fair Ace has also attempted to grasp the finer nuances of human speech, but I'd argue that I'm far more refined.

There's plenty of evidence that Pokemon are capable of mimicking the phonemes involved in human speech - not all Pokemon, of course, as some simply don't have the anatomy required to do so, but many do and can, with extensive practice.

[omg what is that other reply there aaaa-] The gentleman that replied to you would know a lot more about the subject than I do, of course. It's not quite the same as speech, but if your Pokemon are interested in learning how to read, I've come up with some helpful methods and exercises that I'd be happy to share.
