Well now - it seemed a lot of people had their eggs hatch before him. Laguna had gotten a bit worried - the one he's gotten from the breeding center hadn't even hatched yet!

...But, today was a pretty special day for him. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself, as he was filming. He was pretty happy.]

[The video suddenly turned off, the 'gear dropping. Why? Well, Laguna just felt something shaking in his bag. A few moments later, he's suddenly swarmed by Pokemon! And, well, see the picture - the gear seems to have fallen into the sand in just the right place. Lucky!!!]



Looks like they were waiting for each other, doesn't it? All three of them... Cecil, looks like your Litwick hatched, too! And little Leon, and... [Actually, he didn't have a name planned for his third, strange egg. Looks like he's got some thinking to do - Litwick does have a name, mind. It's gonna end up being Tom. The horror. But he's got a smile, either way. Truth be told, he's hella excited.]

Here's to the new year! [He gives a wave, before Boco the friendly Pidgey flies to the 'gear and pokes it off. After a few missed pecks, of course.]

Looks like we'll need to prepare a lot more presents next year, then!

Do you think it'll be hard to train them all?

Not really. [Laguna said, flat-out.] They seem to want to fight, odd as it sounds? I'll be sure to keep them safe, of course.
Hey - do you think your Ralts will need help training, too?

[As if insulted by this, the Ralts sticks her tongue out at Ushio.]

How about we do a bit of training now? You know, nice and close to the Pokemon Center. Plus, I'd like to see what these guys and girl can do.

[The Shinx stepped forward, looking quite serious, letting out a small cry, a warning.]

[Action] No worries!

[Ushio takes a few steps back in preparation. She knows Mei only knows a non-damaging move, so she can't defeat the Shinx on her own, but she could always switch her out with one of her other two.]

Mei, use Growl!

[And the Ralts does its best to look fierce and growl at Leon. But really, how intimidating can it be?]
