[Hahaha... ha...
So... he's gathered a little. He's not at home anymore, he's got these monsters to fight for him (with no weapon to call his own), and he's not the only one.
But... brr! There was something big bothering him. That thing?]

Did she have to kick me into the cold?
[If he'd gotten warning, he'd probably have thrown on a coat or something - his jacket was sort-of warm, but his forearms were cold, and his fingers too! And his other clothes aren't that good - he got stuck with a jester set of clothes. But he had a reason for this broadcast, as he's looking cheerful, a Pidgey on his head. His Snivy is off-screen.]
So, I was checking the area around here - there's a boat out to another place, right? But there's also a path. Wonder which would be better for us?
[Us being his Pokemon and him, and his possible travel group. He is wondering about the cold a lot, too.] I mean, if this cold gets worse, the water might get frozen. That'd be no good. But if it's that cold, maybe we'd get turned to popsicles for the monsters out there! [He's not sounding serious - because he isn't.]
Also, if you're out there, guys? [as in kiros/ward/anybody else he knows] Sorry I'm late, guess we'll have to meet up somewhere along the way.

*nods*

Of course. The supplies provided are rather scarce, but if you're careful, you should be able to make it to the next town fine. It's only a few days' walk, in any case, and depending on what sort of pokemon you have, they can often help you keep warm when you do need to camp out.

*...or you can do what Sion did and travel almost nonstop with minimal breaks for rest, but*

Ah, I have one of those. Well, though he's a Serperior now, but...

It is, though admittedly he's rather large...

Well, if you train it well, certainly. Mine's always been a bit of a handful.

I don't know if it's anything to do with snivy in particular, really, so much as some pokemon just have more, ah, difficult temperaments than others. Though some species certainly seem more prone to it, from what I've heard, but it's really something that you'd need to judge for each individual one...
