Well - it really depends. I mean, Primo - he's a Quagsire - is pretty reliable... but he's a bit of a softie. Are you new - I haven't heard you around the network before. Because I've got some Frillish, and their mother is a pretty good Pokemon. She's a big sweetie too, but not in the way Primo is. So, I think they'd be good to handle.
As for electric-types? I'd say Blitzle are good. Not only are they ridable, but they pack a jolt too! When Anna hatched, the first thing she did was kick right into me! I think they bred with Kenny, though, and that might make them less like their mum.
