Seventh Bullet - video/action for the Breeding Center

[So. Laguna has just gotten back from getting another badge, and was just heading to his room, ready to record and ask a question which has been on his mind. So, the video pops on to Laguna opening his door, his Dragonair giving a few excited cries...

And then eggs. Lots of eggs are in the room, a messy looking Zoroark trying to hide them away so Poppa Laguna isn't angry. The video clicks off again.

About an hour later, the video is back on! Laguna's got a notepad, looking over the eggs.]
I think that's all of them, guys? [He says, with a bit of a chuckle.] Man, didn't believe you'd go this fast after I became a breeder.
[And then he turns to the camera - being possessed by your friendly Spark the Rotom, of course. That's why it's slightly shakey.]
Anyway, seems I've got a lot of eggs here. I'd like to take care of all of them, but I can't. I mean, it'd sure be nice, but I've heard of some sort of limit on the amount of Pokemon you can get?

So... I guess it'd make sense to sell them. My Pokemon've helped me identify them a little, so... I think the attached list is accurate. I'll send them anywhere - I just want them to have good homes, you know? If you have trouble payin' for them, I can send them for cheaper.

Hey, also - I've got a bit of a question. What sort of Pokemon do you guys look out for? Are you choosing them for looks, or power, or... well, it's just something I've been wondering. I mean, those Gym Leaders all just choose a type and stick with it. Don't think I've seen many people like that from us 'outsiders', though.

The number of Pokebeasts one may carry at a time seems to be six, though I am not entirely sure how it is enforced.

[Just another of the numerous ways this place seems to operate on gaming logic.]

I am not sure what the upper limit on the storage capacity of the computerized boxes is, other than that it is significantly higher than six.

[A short pause as Equius looks over the egg list.]

The Bulbasaur Pokebeasts. They are strong, for grass types?

[He's given the list a once over-- Shino isn't here to buy eggs today. Which is why he's not addressing that particular bit of Laguna's video.]

I think I understand that. For me, I just started, but I know that Pokemon have feelings, too. They want to know that someone respects and cares about them. If I don't try to understand how they feel, then I can't be a good Trainer, I don't think.

[Her eyes widen, and she smiles brightly, nodding her head.] I'm just a little ways outside of Cherrygrove City. I'd really appreciate that, thank you so much!

[There will be a thank-you note sent back with the bird.]

Oh, definitely! I'll keep you updated on it, if you want? If it's a girl, I think I'll name her after a friend from home, actually. I think Yuko-san would be happy to have someone so cute named for her...

[And she waves at Munna!]

Hi there! I'll be sure to take good care of your baby. [Turning her attention back to Laguna--] That works just fine for me, sir. I'm traveling at the moment, but I'm sure I'll be in Cherrygrove in the next few days.

I try to think about that but... [ in the end it's just not really her style. ] All of them can overcome their weaknesses if they're properly raised, I'm sure!

[ at the sight of Laguna's munna Xiaoqiao claps her hands together. ] Oh, how precious! Her markings look like flowers!

OK. I'll be there.

[And then he realises, he doesn't know where "there" is. Whoops.]

(Cadence takes a moment to respond since she's looking over the list, but once she turns on the feed, she chooses to discuss the second question first.)

Besides hatching eggs, the Pokemon I take in are generally ones I happen to meet. I met my Shinx after he lost a fight to a Trapinch and decided to look after him from that point on.

...Then again, I'm still a bit new, so I only have him and my starting Audino.

Those two? Sure!
[Laguna gives a pause.]
I think there's an app for that on our PokeGears? Or you could just give the money to Chobi when she flies on over.

[He's smiling the whole way. Man, he'll be able to keep an eye on whatever Rude buys, too! :>]

No, not really. Some Pokemon are different colours and they sparkle sometimes - it's pretty rare, though. You'd have to be lucky to get one. Felix here - I got him from a friend who vanished. I've got two others, though - Elle came from an egg I got around Christmas, and Jonathon just came from a normal egg.

[There's some fiddling around, frowning a bit and running his tongue over a small fang]

No problem! I kinda hope they let us hold more - I kind of want to keep an egg from every batch my Pokemon make.

Yeah - when a Ralts is a Kirlia, if you expose it to a Dawn Stone, it'll become a Gallade. But if you just level it, it'll become a Gardevoir. Gardevoir seem more magical then Gallade, but Gallade are good knights...

I've actually got both - want me to send you some pictures?

[spoilers: laguna is still a bit nervous about his gardevoir. it's just that it looks a little like a sorceress okay?
also he doesn't know gallade are male-only.]

A lot of people I know name their Pokemon after friends from home! I'm actually keeping an Eevee from these eggs - I might name it after a friend from home. I mean, a friend of hers left recently...
[laguna misses yuna :(
well, he misses all his conflict buddies, and his daughter, but...
of course, if it were to be male, he would name it. idk. vaan or something.]
It's not just me who'd like to know - I'm sure Vena and Jack would like to keep an eye on their kid, too.

Maybe it's some kind of mutation? Sort of like how some animals have albinism.

Of course they can! I mean, Ragnarok seems to want to take on that Fire-Type gym when I get to Kanto... Ragnarok's a Servine, a grass-type.

They do, don't they! Hey, if you want one, I've got quite a few Munna eggs here.

[He's looked over that egg list and..]

Oh, hey! is that one of those fire-dragon types? And I dunno about collecting certain ones.. I just pick up ones I come across when training, or ones that look cool!

[So much singing for this Munna's future.]

I wouldn't worry about that. My friends and I are nice ponies, and I'm sure it'll get along just fine! I'm in Cianwood City right now.

Is that so? That's kind of a relief, actually. I was a little bit worried it might seem weird.

[There's a sheepish giggle, but it's cut off pretty quickly.]

I hope that it helps her feel a little bit better. It can't be easy, knowing that her friend's so far away in person. But she's still in her heart, right?

That makes a lot of sense... [And it also makes her miss her mom and dad just a tiny bit. But Nagisa left her parents to pursue her idol dream a long time ago. They're still connected, and she knows that.]

I'm generally looking for Pokemon that could help me begin a fashion line if I can get the right materials. Feather, wool, you know... that sort of thing. Oh, and I'd like to find some that are compatible with the ones I already have, of course. This whole breeding phenomenon is really quite fascinating.

Oh, that would be lovely! [ nevermind that her team has grown pretty quickly. but she has so many already she's sure one more wouldn't make such a big difference. ]

I mean, as long as it's okay with the little one's parents.

I would like that a lot. Visuals can be very good aides when deciding on which evolution to pick. Just knowing their types isn't enough.

A fashion line? Y'know, my Scraggy is into fashion - come here, Bianca!

It is, isn't it? I kind of hope I get good mates for all my Pokemon.

Charmander? Yeah - it is! Marcello hasn't become a full dragon yet, but he's a good Pokemon.

That poor Shinx! Me, I got my Shinx from the Breeding Center. Maybe they should meet sometime - Leon's a good guy.

And it's fine startin' slow. I'd encourage it - I got a lot of them quickly... maybe I shouldn't have.
