How strange. I remembered everything the moment I saw Squall, Zidane, Firion and the Warrior of Light.
[Well, most of everything. He still has trouble remembering things like Terra's hair color, or if the Onion Knight ever smiled.]
Deaths that happened during the cycles were not quite as permanent as we thought they'd be. Other than theirs, perhaps.
