First Bullet >> Video

[Hahaha... ha...
So... he's gathered a little. He's not at home anymore, he's got these monsters to fight for him (with no weapon to call his own), and he's not the only one.
But... brr! There was something big bothering him. That thing?]

Did she have to kick me into the cold?
[If he'd gotten warning, he'd probably have thrown on a coat or something - his jacket was sort-of warm, but his forearms were cold, and his fingers too! And his other clothes aren't that good - he got stuck with a jester set of clothes. But he had a reason for this broadcast, as he's looking cheerful, a Pidgey on his head. His Snivy is off-screen.]
So, I was checking the area around here - there's a boat out to another place, right? But there's also a path. Wonder which would be better for us?
[Us being his Pokemon and him, and his possible travel group. He is wondering about the cold a lot, too.] I mean, if this cold gets worse, the water might get frozen. That'd be no good. But if it's that cold, maybe we'd get turned to popsicles for the monsters out there! [He's not sounding serious - because he isn't.]
Also, if you're out there, guys? [as in kiros/ward/anybody else he knows] Sorry I'm late, guess we'll have to meet up somewhere along the way.

...A Shinx. Somehow, I'm not surprised at all. I wonder...

[If that would make Squall happy, but he'd never shw it anyway.]

They take some time get used to us, in certain cases. He'll have trouble with the first Gym in Violet, at any rate.

The badges and attacks they offer after a win make travelling much easier, especially Fly. You could theoritically use your Snivy even with his weakness, but he'd need to be at a much higher level.

[Answering the next question feels strange, a little.]

My name is Cecil. Cecil Harvey. It's a pleasure to meet you.

It will. Certain locations are hard to reach without a Pokémon's help.

[Unless you can pay for the ferry.]

I have, yes. I arrived here over two years ago; I've seen quite a lot of people come and go.

A few days, perhaps. That's generally the case.

[Hey, at least he learned the proper name on his first day.]

...It's not that easy. We do not choose when we arrive or when we leave, and people from the same world can be taken from different months or years.

That's why regular breaks are important, especially if you transport other people.

[...Or Ditto-shaped couches.]

...I doubt it. There might have been, but those people left a long time ago.

...Perhaps you would be able to bring them gifts. Many Pokémon and most bags are never found when their trainers disappear.

Elle, hmm? You can find plenty of Pokémon well-suited for a girl, even if she favors insects or mechanical monsters.

Big enough for her to ride and scary enough to frighten away the more dangerous monsters. It'd be like giving her a guard dog that can breathe lasers.

You've no need to worry; exploring is the most enjoyable part of this. ...As long as the weather is appropriate, of course.

Or heatstroke. There's a very high risk of it at times, during the summer.
